In England we used to recite this in school assemblies as 5 year olds. like many small children I 'parroted' back what I thought I heard. Let's face it - even in the 1950s 'which art' and 'hallowed' were obscure terms. Very shortly after reciting the aforementioned Lord's Prayer - I saw the written version. So, even by age 6, i was able to correct myself. Now I'm a teacher myself. Every year - with a new intake of youngsters - many still put Richard and Harold up in heaven!!
