The story:

In elementary school we were in class listening to Christmas music while coloring Nativity scene pictures, and I really liked this song, which was being performed by an all male choir with very deep voices. I know it is a popular song, but at the time I do not think I had ever heard it before. After class I was singing the chorus as I had misheard it and asked my friend if she had heard this song before, but of course, because I had the words wrong and cannot carry a tune at all, she had no idea what the hell song I was possibly referring to. The next time our teacher played the cassette tape, I asked her what song it was and what the words were, since I did not see how "diving for fish" had anything to do with Christmas. Probably no one believes me or just thinks I am a total moron because the way I heard it is not even close to the real words.
