No dukes of hazard in the classroom

The story:

I actually did not hear these lyrics wrong, but a co-worker did. After listening to the song on the radio, he asked me if was the "Dukes of Hazard" or the "Ducks of Hazard". Since I didn't realize he was talking about the song, and he had a habit of asking stupid, random questions, I **sumed he was talking about the TV show or movie that had just come out at the time, and told him it was the "Dukes of Hazard". That's when he said, "That's what I thought, but its hard to tell with them English accents." It took me a second of singing the song in my head to realize what he was talking about, and after laughing hysterically I informed him of his mistake. I don't think the term Dark Sarcasm made any sense to him, even after I explained it, and thus he filled in with something that somehow made sense to him.
