I thought it was a reference to "Jimmy Crack Corn," lol. There's apparently a bunch of stuff "crack corn" can mean, but apparently one of them is just sitting around shooting the s**t. And that's probably about all you can do some places in Iowa, which seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to mention in a song talking about non-rich people in non-ritzy places having their own kind of fun.
