This is one of my favourite songs, always heard it
this way, never bothered to check what a "tanging
tire" actually was but swinging on a tire is
normal, used to have a tire swing on a large tree
in front of my house.
Heard Avril lavinge's version she sang one year
for Band Aid and she said "Hanging Tire" but
didn't know that then and I mistook it as well for
"Tanging Tire" so was convinced this was the right
lyric. Saw the right one when searching on this
site.
