I used to wonder what this ***t could be

    Artist: Daniel Ingram
Real Lyric: I used to wonder what friendship could be

    The story:

I have a few friends in SF Fandom who have become "Bronies" (go look it up. I'll wait...). In order to (a) keep up with the various sub-cultures, and (b) have additional ammunition to pick on and/or ridicule my friends (that's what I'm there for!), I picked a random episode illegally posted on YouTube, girded my testicles (hey, it's a Saturday-morning cartoon aimed at 3- to 6-year-old girls!), gritted my teeth, and clicked on 'play.'rnrnGiven the fact that this is churned out through the liberal use of Filipino slave-wage labor and Adobe Flash as the technology base (which, in and of itself, puts it on the late Steve Jobs' ***t-list. But then again, he initially refused to acknowledge his first daughter, Lisa, saying that "paternity tests are bulls**t!"), the script-writing and production values are surprisingly not completely sucky.rnrnBeing an old-time filker for a couple of decades, I always keep an ear out for lyrics that can be twisted; it's an occupational hazard. Sure enough, I had to pause, rewind, and listen several times to the beginning of the opening theme to be sure I wasn't hearing what I thought I was hearing. Let's just say that by the time I had reality and imagination safely separated in my head, I was ready to blow a hole in Twilight's friggin' hot-air balloon so she'd end up a bloody unicorn smear fit for the glue factory.rnrnAnd, yes, I've picked up plenty of ammo for use against my friends...>;-) (insert evil laugh)rnrnHave I convinced anyone that my version was correct? There should be a third choice: Not Yet.rnrnrn

+leopard117 This member was trying to post something he thought was funny. Anyway, why do you care for a show about ponies? Are you gay or something? :P

Yeah...Troll? Your mishearing should have ended when the series logo showed up on whatever flash screen you had. Methinks that if you ever come across a true 'brony' or 'pegasister'; they're gonna "http://dogpuppy1.deviantart.com/art/Love-and-Tolerate-261016174"
