There are a LOT of my favorite bands out there. Linkin Park is one of them. I also like Weird Al Yankovic, Keane, Maroon 5, Coldplay, Owl City, Nickelback, Eminem, Aerosmith (these bands hold a large chunk of my MP3 player)
Big fan of the 'Now that's Music' U.S. series. Current fav. artists/songs are Avicii, Pharrell, Lorde, Ke$ha, Imagine Dragons, Bastille's Pompeii, Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith (La La La), Fall Out Boy, David Guetta f. Sia, Pitbull, & Jason Derulo.
I giggle every time I hear both the saxophone part of "Talk Dirty" and the entirety of "#Selfie" by Chainsmokers.
I'm just an avid fan of modern music, also partial to the Beatles, Monkees and some of our Rock Hall inductees. I want to know what a song's lyrics mean so the message isn't lost on me. Beyond Eminem, I don't get too much into rap. |
