It wasn't actually me who was wrong :)...it was about 10 years ago, at a teenage gathering at the beach in Croatia, when a friend with a guitar started this song and another guy jumped into it with those embarrassing misheard lyrics...the rest of the group went numb, while he was going ballistic, convinced that he got the lyrics right (makes me wonder wat he thought that "played it til my fingers bled" meant...)...when everybody started laughing like crazy, he STILL wouldn't admit the lyrics were just completely wrong.
