The story:

I was driving with my friend George, singing what I thought were the lyrics to Gwen Stefani's song when he burst out laughing and said, "What the hell are you singing? It's not the holodeck, from Star Trek, you nerd, it's holla back!" I, of course, pointed out that since he knew the holodeck was a reference to Star Trek: Next Gen he was just as nerdy as I but nonetheless, my shame remains!
