I was in Australia a year ago discussing the songs from the 80s that were once again vogue in the world of retro-oriented night clubs. After confessing that I could never tell "Bizarre Love Triangle" from other New Order songs I mentioned that there was some German song that for some reason mentioned potatoes in English.
Somehow I still ended up getting the girl that night. And many people agree that it does like "hot potatoes". I'm sure the story is still making its way around Bondi Beach.
