The story:

This song came out when I was in junior high, so you can just
imagine that any embarrassment this misheard lyric was times
100. I just remember telling my friends how confusing it was to
imagine a 100 pound kid fitting into Coolio's hand, and how the
bee in the eye made a little more sense, but not much. My face
was pretty red after that. To my credit, though, we had the Internet
back then, but there were few lyrics websites and no Google, so
very few people knew what the words even were.
