    My mom misheard it actually. And only for a day...or so I think. We were in the car and she asks "Are they saying 'And I will poke my eyes out and surrender?'" I corrected her and started cracking up. I imagine it wasn't too embarassing. But now, whenever the song comes on, we joke about how mom thought Dido wanted to poke her eyes out and surrender.
