The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
It was my brother who misheard this. My family was crammed into my sisters car, and we went to this Christmas display at the local Pepsi plant. They show a little picture for each of the twelve days with the song playing. We were all singing along when my brother sang "and a partridge in a pantry." We all busted up laughing...it just fits my brother's goofy personality anyway. He had always thought those were the lyrics. When we asked him why the partridge would be in a pantry, he asked why it's in a pear tree...good point I guess.
