Just a couple of years ago, after singing this song with the radio for aboput 30 years, I was driving along with me sister and niece and they started laughing. I asked why and they said because I had the lyrics wrong. I think that my version is appropriate at least as an alternate chorus line because it relates to racing which is what she was doing even though she had lied to her father about the library.
