This is actually misheard by my husband. We were listening to the song in the car and he said, "It's so weird that he says the word, 'strategy' wrong in this song." So I asked him what he thought he was saying and he told me. I have made fun of him for years now for assuming that the singer was grossly mispronouncing a word instead of considering that he might just be hearing it wrong.
