The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
In the 1980s in New Zealand, nobody had a lyric
sheet. Nobody knew what these words were. Whenever I
suggested to my friends that this song was about
somebody who was rejected a boy or girl, these could
be the words they would use. Nobody suggested
anything else. Since the early 2000s, my ex-school
mates have looked up the lyrics and have contacted
me, saying I was wrong. Hard to believe. Sounds
nothing like Les Yeux Sans Visage. I can't hear any
S's or V's or G's in that line at all.
