The story:

I heard it playing on the t.v. show "The O.C." and I decided to start singing along. My brother was watching it with me and he cracked up when he heard how I was singing it. I didnt know that I was singing it wrong so I just thought he was laughing at my singing (that was proabably a bit of what he was laughing at as well though).
Finally when he stopped laughing he took me to the computer and showed me the real lyrics. He still makes fun of me for it now.
