I had thought that I had been singing the song correctly until I was about seven. Now when I look back, I think, "how stupid could I have been!"
Then again, my family, friends and I always laugh whenever someone brigs it up! I mean, you've got to admit, it was HILARIOUS!

My mother told me that at on time a rabbit was used to check to see if you were pregnant... Don't know how it was used. So what Elvis is saying is if you have not had sex then you are not a friend of his... The song is all about having sex. Great song though...
