Found the real words here, then went nuts again about deuce. My son suggested gambling. Little Deuce Coupe(Beachboys)came to mind. Into Wikapedia - deuce: 1932 Ford often turned a hotrod (deuce means two so named after last digit of year of manufacture.) Problem solved, but I miss the mystery of it!
