I always knew that the way I was hearing this could not possibly be right. I was bowling one day when the song played over the alley's music system and I asked other people what they thought the words were. Every single person had a different version, or had no idea what the line was. I was 20 years old when I first misheard the words and 48 when I finally looked up the lyrics to see what they really were.
