I was looking at misheard lyrics for this song on this site just now and under all the "real lyrics" headings it said "with the birds I share this lonely view" I've been singing it that way for years and no one corrected me, probably because no one knows what the Chili Peppers are saying most of the time and the actual lyrics are too ridiculous to even thinl about.
