The story:

I never realised how wrong I'd been. I've never liked the song, so I think that 'gopher meat' is a definite improvement.

I'm not sure if this is the right line in the song that I'm thinking of -- he repeats it three times and looking at the lyrics online this seems like the most likely spot. I originally assumed the real line was "go for me", which was repeated the three times.
