The story:

walking down the street with a friend talking about this song.. I remarked "yes I think its good the way it contrasts the idea of getting some coffee with people being upset at his lyrics" (or something like that)

Too which my friend replied, "yes that's pretty weird.. I always thought it said "From what I get in calls.."

At which point I realised I had been mishearing it for the past five years.
