It was actually my friend Kelly that misheard them. We're both waitresses at a restaurant and she was making salads and I was doing dishes. She was singing her heart out.....until I heard what she was saying. I asked her to repeat it and then told her what the real lyrics were. I don't think she really got embarrassed, she just said she didn't really know what a brass paper plate was.
