My friends and I were hanging out and one of us jokingly said, "Get turnt up!" and a friend started singing it to the tune of 'turn down for what' as a joke. When another friend said, "Wait, what came first, the song "turnt up for what" or the phrase?" And everyone was like "...you know those aren't the lyrics, right?" And she replied to us, "Yes they are! It's Turnt up for what!" to which we gently told her, "Are you f**king deaf?! Oh my god..."
