The story:

I always sing, loudly, with the songs I enjoy while driving, but stopped singing (not driving) to sneeze during this one, doing about 120 km/hr. Speed is not relavent...it just finished my sentence nicely. When I hesitated, waiting for the above-mentioned sneeze (in case you forgot), this part of the song played, and I suddenly realized, after many years of certainty, it really couldn't be escargot. Could it? Well, why not? But more likely, why? There were no other references in the song about snails. Should have been my first clue. Looked up the lyrics when I got home, but all in all, I like my version better :).
