The story:

I was singing it at the top of my lungs at a karaoke - trying to be all smug since I "knew" the song so well, when I looked up at the screen, saw the real lyrics, and almost died of embarrassment! An entire crowd of strangers now thought I was a complete idiot...and I can't even use the blonde thing as an excuse (I'm a highly educated brunette)
I was mortified for ages and never went back to that karaoke bar.
