The story:

I was sitting at my computer, attempting to do homework (not
really) when I realized that my computer grabbed lyrics for songs
in my library. I was curious to see how long the lyrics were all
together for Jesus of Suburbia, since it is quite a long song. And
that's when I realized that I (and most of my friends) have been
singing this song the wrong way for the last three and half years or
so. Oops! I'm going to say that I've convinced someone that my
version was correct, since nobody ever tried to correct me, even
when I was singing at the top of my lungs.
