I'd been into this song since I first heard it on the radio in 1983 or so. Fourteen years later I was listening to it with some friends while we indulged in some locally grown herbal amusement. I don't sing along out loud, but I do lip-synch. Fortunately, none of them could read my lips when, for whatever reason, I heard it correctly for the first time.
