Over in the UK, the media decided we needed to clamp down on profanity in songs, when 'Don't Want You Back' (which featured the word 'f***' in every chorus) went to #1. I was discussing this with some of my friends and happened to say 'well Christina Aguilera swore in 'Beautiful', didn't she? You know, when she says 'And I go ape-s**t'?' And all of my friends insisted she didn't say that, and one of them whipped out her iPod and made all of us listen to the allegedly profane lyric. In the end I conceded. :)
