The little shop where we belong

The story:

This was my Mom's misquote. She had loved the song since she first heard it when it came out. It was not until I was in my 20's that I heard her singing this lyric. She was acctually disappointed to be corrected, because, she said, she had an image in her mind of this lovely dark, antique-y shop that smelled of tea and cookies, with doilies all over the place. I asked her what she thought eagles were doing in the shop and she said, "Yes, that part always confused me!"
