I thought the Jubilee reference was deliberate because the album on which the song 'Dogs' appears, 'Animals', came out in 1977, the year of the Queen's Silver Jubilee. I thought Pink Floyd were being sarcastic, and laying in to the Establishment. I felt deflated when I found out that the actualy lyrics weren't quite so interesting.
