Not really a single moment that I can recall, I just knew my version could not have been correct (I misheard it when I was like 12) because it never made any sense. I think it was probably the first time I heard it as an adult that I realized what he was really saying. No one else ever knew that I thought that. (Sorry, not a funny story!)
