The barroom fight we almost won

The story:

This is really sad. I've been listening to this
song since I was a kid when my parents played it on
the radio ... and I just, today, realized what the
actual lyrics are. How on earth, at the age of 7 or
8, did I think barroom was a better option than
ballroom?! I do think it's more interesting,
however, but I never sang it out loud, nor did I
hear my parents sing it, so there was never a
discussion to show me I was so very wrong!!!
