A few years ago, I was singing it at a stoplight and my husband thought that I was distorting lyrics again and we had a debate. Grudgingly, I looked it up and he was right. However, it makes sense considering that most of REM's lyrics don't, not to mention that their songs are horribly addictive. I always change the station when the one about the elephant comes on.
