Diana Ross sang this as a tribute to Princess Diana - I thought it was a beautiful song, but I couldn't figure out why in the world they would call people turds, unless they were referring to the Paparazzi. I could not figure what other lyrics would sound that way until finally I asked a friend, who thought I was such an idiot, and let me know.
