I was a little kid when I first saw Top Gun and heard the song. For many many years I sang out "Watchin' in slow motion as you to turn me and say 'My love, Take my bread away' " and always wondered why anyone would want someone to take their bread, bread's good right?? It wasn't until many many years later that I saw the title of the Berlin song and put two and two together.
