Take me to the classroom

The story:

I first heard it when I was ten years old and therefore it seemed natural to me that the story in the song took place in a school. I thougt maybe Whitney meant she was in love with the teacher and almost fainted with happiness when the teacher caught up with her in some hallway and told her to get her butt to class. However now there is a new version combining this song and a U2 song, sung by another singer who pronounces the words differently wich meant I now know Whitney probably wasn't stalking her teacher. Too bad.
