The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
I'm the lead singer in a rock n' roll band and one of our members mentioned we should cover the song "Sweet Home Alabama."
I said, "I don't think I know that song." My bandmates looked at me incredulously and someone started singing the tune to me to bring me to my senses. I busted out laughing when I realized my stupidity but was too embarassed to say what I had been singing in the car all these years. They eventually coerced me into telling them what I thought the real lyrics were. I've (deservingly) never lived it down.
