During a college summer, me and my friends from high school were re-hashing music from our youth. Therefore, Ace of Base was a staple. I was probably 10 when I first heard this song, maybe younger, so don't blame me for hearing this non-sensical version! It's in the eye of the [sometimes disturbed] beholder. :)
