I was actually at a science fiction convention and people were singing made up songs. I asked if anyone knew the song "Stand By Earth Man". I had always thought it was a song about astronauts!!! Everyone looked at me just very confused and finally someone asked me to sing a little bit. I did and was probably bowled over by the laughter decibels!!! Since then, I have actually thought about rewriting the song to make it actually about astronauts, kind of ala Weird Al.
