English is not my native language so I have trouble
understanding Metallica lyrics in general. This one,
however, I thought I had nailed. I had this whole
story in my head about an elderly Jewish couple
owning a "mom-n-pop-shop" in New York, and that the
wife suddenly decides that it's time to sell!
They're too old - no heirs... what do I know.
Anyway, I read the lyrics on the sleeve (I had the
album for years on cassette).
