The story:

Was in the car with a bunch of people who were more acquaintances than friends... We were all singing the song but they all stopped and looked at me. One of the girls said "That's not what it says." But when I asked them what it DID say, none of them knew either. So I was the only idiot to sing loud enough to be told I was wrong. I looked it up when I got home, but I still hear this version.
