The story:

I was sitting alone in my room today listening to this song and
thought, Okay, this song is about how in life you'll have your ups
and your downs, but I don't really understand why Tom Cochrane
would admit or write a song about how sometimes he stinks.

Obviously I looked the lyrics up and realised I was wrong, but I
think Tom Cochrane was wrong for trying so hard to rhyme "stand"
and "wind" that he made it sound (really!) like "stink".
