Well, this is just what I had always thought all these years, and I never questioned it, even though later on there's no way I could have thought that was right. The Gibb falsetto can really play tricks on your ears...although if you harken back to the days of youth and serious scatological humor, that lyric could fit right in with trying to "stay alive."
