It was actually a friend of mine that misheard them. She was taking a lyric quiz and she called me and was like "hey, what are the lyrics to Jesus of Suburbia?" I asked her why and she said it wasn't taking her answers. I wonder why. Since then I sing these lyrics as opposed to the original to see how many people I can fool, got both my parents and my best friend with it in addition to my band mates.
