Actually this was my little cousin Dave. He was about 9 and we were sophisticated freshmen in high school when the song came out. We heard him singing this while playing out in his back yard. We looked at each other, then looked at him, and just burst out laughing hysterically. I mean, he REALLY thought Billy was singing Slow Man's Trumpet. Listen to the song, it really kinda does sound like that! We picked on him for years afterwards.
