She's so funkular (pronounced FUNK-U-LAR)

The story:

For all of my life, it was painfully clear to my mother and I that the song said "She's So Funkular." We have heard it on the radio many times and we have always sung along, singing "She's So Fukular."
Earlier this evenging, while using our computer, I began mumbling the words. It occured to us to look this up. So we did a Google search for Peter Gabriel lyrics. I spent a long time looking for a site that did not say that the line was "Jeau Sans Frontieres."
Eventually we accpeted this as the truth and used the translation feature on Google to see what it means in English. It means "Plays Without Borders" which totally fits the tone of the song.
Just for kicks we translated "She's So Funkular" into French. It is "Elle Est Ainsi Funkular." You learn something new every day.
