I was a freshman in college when I sang my version in front of my
roommate. She laughed and told me I was mentally unstable, so I
spent about ten minutes defending my interpretation ("He likes
punk girls! He's got a softcore magazine! Mohawks turn him on!")
until she looked up the real lyrics and showed them to me.

I thought the lyrics were that too. I think there is something in every song he does people cannot make out. I surprised these lyrics are not ranked #1.

I thought it was "electric boobs, a mouth that moves" refering to a fancy blowup doll that he saw in a (porn) magazine.
