I was only wrong about the first 10 times I heard it on the radio in 1988. As soon as I heard a DJ name the title of the song, I figured it out. I was too embarassed to tell any of my high school friends what I thought it was. However, I certainly think my version is better than the other five submissions. My lyrics (a) really mean something and therefore really could have been the lyrics to a song, and (b) sound like the original.
